Bacon Cheeseburger Pickle Poppers

8- Whole dill pickles
1 lb Cooked ground beef
Your favorite burger seasoning (to taste)
8oz Shredded cheddar cheese
16 Bacon slices
BBQ sauce
Ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce
Method
To make Bacon Cheeseburger Pickle Poppers, simply…

Slice off the ends of the whole dill pickles.

Slice the pickles down the middle, creating two long halves.

Carefully remove the seeds from each pickle half to create a canoe shape.

Fill the pickle canoes with cooked ground beef.

Sprinkle your favorite burger seasoning over the ground beef.

Add a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Wrap each stuffed pickle half with bacon slices.

Sprinkle more seasoning over the bacon-wrapped pickles.

Preheat your smoker to 275°F.

Place the bacon-wrapped pickle poppers in the smoker.

Smoke them at 275°F for approximately 1 hour.

After 1 hour, turn up the smoker temperature to 350°F.

Continue cooking for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the bacon reaches your desired level of crispiness.

Brush each bacon-wrapped pickle popper with BBQ sauce.

Allow the BBQ sauce to glaze the poppers for 5-10 minutes in the smoker.
