Moms Spaghetti Bake

Ingredients

Here are the basic ingredients that you will need to make Moms Spaghetti Bake:
1 Ib ground beef
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 packet spaghetti sauce mix
1 cup water (divided)
½ lb spaghetti
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 cup evaporated milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
¼ cup parmesan cheese

Method

To make Moms Spaghetti Bake, simply…
1 Preheat the oven to 375 F.
2 In a pan brown the ground beef and drain any grease. Stir in the tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce packet, and 1/2 cup water. Simmer for 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
3 In a separate pot, make the spaghetti according to the package instructions, broken into thirds before boiling. Pour into a colander and set aside.
4 To that same pot add in the butter. Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for 2-3 minutes.
5 Slowly stir in the milk and the rest of the water. Stir until thickened about 2-3 minutes.
6 Turn the mixture down to low and slowly add in a cup of shredded cheese and the parmesan cheese. Stir until all the cheese is melted.
7 In a 9X13 casserole dish layer in this order: 1/2 of spaghetti, 1/2 of meat mixture, all of cheese sauce mixture, rest of the spaghetti and rest of the meat mixture
8 Top with remaining shredded cheese and bake for 20 minutes.
